Improving Health Budget Execution: Learning from Country Experience

This learning brief presents key learnings from a review of the literature to identify examples of successful MOH efforts that have led to increased health budget execution, learning exchange meetings, and country-specific TA support. It summarizes the activity implementation process. This is followed by summaries of literature review findings and learning exchange outcomes on health budget execution; a shared vision of good health budget execution; and learning and promising practices in the areas of budget structure and processes and budget accountability.
